Consulting services include: Environmental and Safety consulting for small business, OSHA abatement assistance, and human resource management and training, and project management.

In this capacity we have attended OSHA conference hearings for small business construction companies. Through our guidance and assistance we lowered a fine from $70,000 to $1900. and had an egregious citation dismissed.

Residential and Commercial property inspections, mold inspection and testing. Radon, asbestos, and lead testing.

Began performing residential inspections in 1992.

Project Manager, Engineering, United States Enrichment Corp .

Oversaw contract projects for USEC in the engineering department of in-house build contracts and outside contractor work. Oversaw daily progress of work, approved change orders and acted as liaison with affected divisions to ensure smooth work transitions.

Projects included the feed and withdraw upgrade, X-720 laboratory decommissioning, and warehouse projects totaling over $8 million dollars. Reported progress on a monthly basis to United States Enrichment Corp HQ . The feed and withdraw project was a criticality based project that interfaced outside contractors with internal maintenance personnel. I was the first woman and first non-degreed engineer to be assigned a maintenance construction project. The project came in under budget and before completion date. I was given a substantial monetary award by HQ.

Section Manager, Lockheed Martin Maintenance Division**and Service Support Division.

Oversaw all clerical staff covering the Plant Shift Superintendent, Maintenance and Production facilities. Oversaw the inception, development and implementation of the computerized overtime system. Managed work control and coverage of all areas and cross training of all staff personnel. Set up straight and rotating shifts to cover 24 hours, 365 days. The overtime system and staff coverage was adopted by the Paducah and Oak Ridge facilities. Awarded the Lockheed Martin Corporate Award of Excellence for this endeavor.

Oversaw departmental budgeting and budget forecasts. Broke down all worked manhours to plant wide cost centers. Hired personnel and completed annual evaluations, performance raises and disciplinary actions in the dept. Budget included the overtime system and support costs.

Facility Manager, Senior Safety Associate.

Facility Manager for the X720 craft shops, and the maintenance side of the X-700. Performed all safety related tasks for the maintenance division. Worked as a liaison between the plant safety department, DOE, NRC, management, and union personnel. Participated in hearing bargaining unit grievance hearings. Full responsibility for the building’s for maintenance, space assignments, emergency evacuations, waste operations, and EPA permits. Worked with outside agencies such as the EPA and OSHA as issues pertaining to the maintenance division and decontamination and decommissioning activities.

The X-720 facility is a 33 acre building that housed: Stores, plating laboratories and decontamination recovery laboratories, a motor shop where 3000hp to 50 hp motors were build and serviced, electrical department including switch yard maintenance (13800V), sheet metal fabrication, tool fabrication, compressor shop, paint shop, and carpentry shop. The X-700 facility was the converter build and breakdown facility and weld shop. Oversaw the division budget and expenditures for the operation and upkeep of these buildings. I was the first female Safety Associate and first female Facility Manager of this division.

ES&H Coordinator, Maintenance Division.

One of the first ES&H Coordinators to begin the work of waste categorization, implementing OSHA compliance and working with management and bargaining unit personnel with safety and health meetings. Resolve ES&H issues brought up by bargaining unit personnel, management and outside agencies. The only woman selected in the original group of 12 ES&H Coordinators. Published a weekly newsletter that began for the maintenance division on ES&H issues, that was later adopted plant-wide.

Administrative Assistant, Computer security.

Maintenance security interface, and Operations security. Participated in operational security breech exercises within all of the DOE facilities.

Police Officer.

Performed all required duties of police force and maintained weapons qualifications to include: M-16A1 (Expert) 30 06 S&W sniper rifle (Expert) 12 gauge full choke shot gun live fire riot exercises (Expert) M-203 grenade launcher, .38 and .45 caliber handgun.

Military:

Officer in the United States Army Reserve. Field Service Support. First Woman Commander of the 1001st Field Service Company, Chillicothe and Portsmouth Ohio. First Woman Detachment Commander of the 1001st Graves registration and field decontamination detachments, Portsmouth Ohio.

Enlisted in the Ohio National Guard, Military Police, until completion of college degree and receipt of my commission.

Simultaneous membership in the Ohio National Guard and ROTC. First female Company Commander of the Ohio University (Athens) ROTC.
